MS-Insight Ltd is a Mass Spectrometry Training and Consultancy business, targeted at providing cutting edge mass spectrometry solutions to biological problems. The company directors, Dr Duncan Smith and Dr John Griffiths, have extensive knowledge and experience in analytical science acquired over more than 30 years both in industry and academia.

Secondly, the consultancy branch of the business offers expert advice on a range of mass spectrometry-related issues such as troubleshooting (both mass spectrometry and nanoflow liquid chromatography), method development and new instrument purchase/assessment. We also run an Introduction to Biological Mass Spectrometry course aimed specifically at scientists new to mass spectrometry or those thinking of moving into the field. In addition, for instrument vendors we offer a bespoke course on maximising the impact of customer demonstrations.

Located in the South Manchester area, historically the UK’s mass spectrometry heartland, classroom-based courses are held throughout the year either at a local training centre, or by prior arrangement on customer sites.
